| Theresa Lina Stevens, CEO of Lina Group, Inc., has more than 20 years of strategy, marketing, technology and professional services experience. Ms. Stevens leads Lina Group's strategic marketing consulting work with marketing and information technology services companies. She specializes in differentiation strategies that help business-to-business services companies dramatically increase revenues and margins. Using a proprietary method, she helps them pursue the dominant Go-To position in focused, target markets. Ms. Stevens has performed consulting assignments with companies such as Accenture, H-P and Sun Microsystems, as well as software companies, start-ups and small businesses seeking aggressive growth and sustainable margins. She has written a number of articles and white papers dealing with trends in technology, telecommunications, and media; she has delivered numerous formal presentations on these topics at industry meetings and academic institutions including Oxford, Yale and the University of Virginia.
Most recently, Ms. Stevens served as Chief Marketing Officer for XOR Inc. and then Seurat Company, following a merger of the two companies. XOR provided Internet development and outsourcing services, and Seurat focused on precision marketing outsourcing. Fair Isaac Corporation acquired Seurat in September, 2003.
Prior to starting Lina Group in 1992, Ms. Stevens served as Director of Worldwide Marketing for the Communications Industry Group at Accenture. She helped launch the practice and grow it to $250 million in revenues within five years. She managed its strategy, marketing, sales support, and marketing operations activity in 48 offices throughout 20 countries. Among the many programs she created while at Accenture was an annual summit of top communications and media industry executives from around the world, which is still conducted today. She was also involved in some of the firm's first electronic commerce research and the development of company-wide marketing processes.
She is very involved in the development of young people and child advocacy concerns. Ms. Stevens has also conducted a great deal of research on the roles of technology and media in child development. She is past chairperson of the national children's media literacy initiative sponsored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the Pacific Mountain Network. She also formerly served on the Board of Governors for the Southeastern Chapter of NATAS.
She is an avid sailor, speaks German, and enjoys traveling, water-skiing and hiking. Ms. Stevens earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
